Well now, that's me traumatised and put off from hiking for quite a while! A very unique little experience featuring a truly unique monster (I think you did a cracking job bringing Trevor's creation to life!).

Sometimes games don't need a whole lot of background story or hours and hours of gameplay. Sometimes all you need is five minutes to chill someone to the bone. And this is a great example of that! Keep up the great work, this was cracking =)

Excuse me! I must ask "HOW?" since I cant even think that a game like this could scare somebody so hard that they decided to "put off from hiking for quite a while". how does this game scare you! I realy whana know since this game dosent scare me! im not someone who cant get scared easaly, when there is a spooky game and I get scared I usualy do the good ol' "ALT+F4".   this game did have a good build up but the pay off wasent that scary (Personaly I think an Air-Raid Siren would've worked better). and that isnt only me I made my friends play the game and all of them sayd "this game isnt scary" one of them even bursted into laughter when he saw the spooky creature. PLEASE I BEG YOU, COULD YOU TELL ME WHY DO YOU FEEL THE GAME IS SCARY!?

Purely the atmosphere and the build-up. All about the scene-setting! Different strokes for different folks (and the being put off hiking line was not as serious as you may have taken it).

Made a video

This was really good. I wish there was more! I could see it being such a creepy game. Great work :D

Really interesting game! Loved everything about the creature from the sound effects to the visual effects when it got close!

It was certainly different, nice creature.

Pretty cool.  While short it was quite unique. I like the design of the monster, but the terrain could use some work.

Interesting and well done if a bit short.

I love how this  actually looks like a psx game.  Too many indies just make a game and add a bunch of retro filters on top.

Controls are very suited for story telling.

Would love to see more!

I would LOVE to see a longer version someday :D

Very short but very likeable >.<

So cool to see such a potential for a PS1 horror game. Good sound, good horror feeling, awesome monster.

Nice to see a team up for a jam. Trevor's monster design is interesting and can fit in a Silent Hill game.  A monster in a form of one of your darkest inner secrets.

I would like to see a longer game like this in the future. This was something different.

Who would even camp here?

"We enjoyed our hike through the scenic Pine Ridge Hiking Trail, so many wonderful things to see and run from. We can't wait to come back with the whole family next time."

XOXO - C.P.

I loved it! But you should make it more clear that you have to zoom on the hikers... Remains? But Siren Head was horrifying! I loved it.

It was short and simple, I liked it tho wish there was a bit more to the game, it was only two minutes long.

It was the first one I played

The fog horn helped create a more horror filled environment, but I found this game to be more funny than scary and enjoyed every minute. The game looks nice and runs pretty well and is good for the short time the game was made in. Nice job.

Good to see Pyramid Head's brother getting some screen time!

visual style is great (although those trees probably be less cartoony as multi-billboards)

gameplay is too minimal. so minimal that it may have worked better as a short film

This was pretty good! I liked the design of the monster and how it glitched the surroundings if it was close. It's a nice mechanic! I played this as part of my three short horror games and this is the first one I played! Good job!

This was hella spooky! the siren sound was actually terrifying!! i love these kind of eerie sounds! :D great job on this game :D

"this isnt exacly what I would call scary" is the exact thing I say'd after finishing the game. im not sure but the game didnt scare me, it didnt even so much as make me feel a thing, maby when I saw "SIREN HEAD" I got in expething a game in a city simiral to silent hill with spooky siren head that was hunting you down and you had to avoid him find out th- bla bla B L A. long story short I setted up my expetation way to high but I did see a siren head...

IT WAS SCARY!

tell me how! I realy whana know! becose it didnt scare me! I saw the "Siren Head" and he was so standing there and when he started chasing I think that "siren" sound that he made wasent exacly scary that or his slow speed. there were no stakes in place to scare me.  the build up was good but the pay off wasent that scary. I made my friends play this and they said that this game wasent scary one friend began to laugh when he saw "siren head". so I ask again' good "The Demon Studios" Were is the Scare?

I enjoyed the game fairly well actually. For being pretty short the whole concept from the begining was creepy man. From the monster design to the sound effects make this a well crafted game.

Ahhhhh love this so much! Way to capture the whole aesthetic of both Trevor's work and that entire classic horror game era! Beautiful experience all around
