Diving into the depths of the ocean made me realize.. This was a terrible idea.. What if a fish slightly touches my leg? I'll need therapy after that.. Luckily it can't get worse right?...
Really enjoyed this one. Creepy atmosphere. I just wish the map was a bit bigger. Played it in the dark with headphones, scared the shit out of me. There should be more deep sea horror games.
I've had this installed for ages but never got around to playing it, so glad I finally gave it a go. Such an atmospheric experience in a beautifully creepy environment, I could happily explore in the submersible for hours on end. And that ending really caught me off guard. One of the best horror games I've played.
What seems to be the problem? I know newer versions of OSX prevent you from opening unregistered applications. You can usually get around that by launching the game through the Itch launcher.
I don't think a game has made me feel such a sense of dread in ages. When I realized where the game wanted me to go and I couldn't see, only gauging the depth, I had to take my headphones out and mentally prepare myself for it. Great game!
The controls felt a bit clunky so I tried it with my xbox controller and having two sticks felt fine, however, there were no buttons for going up or down which was really weird.
Such a wonderful game! Tons of credit for choosing an underwater theme and letting something as minimal as a ping and a hud tell the story for you. The atmosphere was fantastic, color, the sound design, all top notch. Extra for something started in a jam. Loved the ending! The one issue I had was the controls. Turning especially was bad, so I used both the keyboard and controller. Otherwise, kudos for this. I played at around 20:48!
Fantastic Game. Out of massess of all recent horror games, this one oozes with the atmosphere and dread. Controlls are great as well, everything felt intuitive. PSX stylized graphics helps set this eerie undertone of mystery, as well as lets you fill in the gaps of what you're supposed to percieve. I hope you'll try to expand this concept further, cause it'll be a guaranteed hit
Wow, that was amazing. I love the atmosphere and sense of isolation; really makes me wish submarine horror was a genre in games because you've managed to capture everything it would be in this one short experience.
Fantastic job, with a really great setting. Underwater settings are so powerful for horror games. It managed to give me nostalgia for a game I had long forgotten, an underwater sub game that I played at a friends house when I was a kid. I love how you did the UI.
It's short and the plot is vague, but Frontier Diver is an interesting time that I feel justifies my concerns over the ocean. It definitely has the look of a Ps1 game as well, which not many can fully pull off from what I've seen lately.
Well done. Graphics were great, world was made very well. I'm not really sure what the point of the game was or where the pings were taking me, but I enjoyed it a lot.

Frontier Dive - Jeansentis (Horror stream)
This was very cool. You scaled the different points of interest nicely, and the build-up to the final one was breathtaking. Seriously cool.

Doesn't start on linux
I really liked the game, the atmosphere was great, but it felt a bit too empty for me

Mac version seems broken :(

That did the trick! I somehow missed that the app existed up until this point. time to try out all the games I thought wouldn't run before...
Glad I could help!

The game give me a creepy vibe until the end!
I loved the enviroment and the reveal at the end.
Thanks for helping me confirm my absolute terrified hatred for the deep ocean. Great experience.

Turns out, Mr. Progenitor just wanted us to stay with him a little bit longer... Just as I expected, an amazing experience. Completely mind-bending!
Very creepy and amazing game! In portuguese:

No more updates after the latest one?

Good job, devs.Is the game finished and needs no more updates?
Yes it’s complete! It was made for a 48 hour game jam so the scope is limited.
And no more updates?
Just bug fixes if any come up
I found the code, but I don't know where to use it, any hint?
Thanks for playing 😉
Loved this game! Controls were great too ;)
Thank you!
Loved the ending.

The pings just lead you to different points of interest around the map. Thanks for playing!
oh! That's cool! Also I found the crater with that monster like thing. Kinda creeped me out. Thanks for responding and great work on the game. :)
I really liked this game. It felt so alone and like you were being watched at the same time. I did a little playthrough/review here!
Thanks for playing and reviewing! I enjoyed the video 😁
You are legit one of my favorite game developers, I have a huge phobia of underwater ruins and love your art style...so this is perfect.
Thank you so much, that means a lot!
Well shit....I'm not going deep sea diving.
